Why the milligrams depend on the vial
60 units is 0.6 mL, and 0.6 mL is the withdrawal the Zepbound label describes for every multi-dose vial. From those vials, 60 units is the labelled dose: 2.5 mg from the 10 mg vial, 5 mg from the 20 mg vial, 7.5 mg from the 30 mg vial, 10 mg from the 40 mg vial, 12.5 mg from the 50 mg vial and 15 mg from the 60 mg vial. From a single-dose vial, 60 units is impossible: the vial holds 0.5 mL. If the calculator refuses 60 units with a single-dose vial selected, that is the reason, and it means the vial and the instruction do not belong together. Sixty units also does not fit a 0.5 mL or 0.3 mL syringe, which is why the Zepbound label describes a 1 mL syringe.
The mistake to watch for. The 60 mark is four draws per multi-dose vial and none from a single-dose vial. If you have a single-dose vial and were told 60 units, one of the two is not what it was meant to be.
