Privacy and terms

The calculator runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or to anyone else.

What we do not collect

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which parts of the calculator are used: which mode, which syringe, which preset, which errors and warnings people hit, and which buttons are pressed. Those events carry category labels only, never values. The configuration turns off Google Signals and ad personalisation, and the page address sent excludes anything after the #. Google may set a first-party cookie to tell one visit from another. Event data is retained for two months.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the US states of Washington, Nevada, Connecticut and Maryland, analytics does not load until you allow it in the notice at the bottom of the page. Elsewhere it loads by default. You can change your choice here at any time:

We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookie and stores no identifier, to count page views.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request to deliver the page and to protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not keep server logs of individual visits.

Report-a-problem form

If you use the form, we receive the page you named, your message, and an email address only if you choose to give one so we can reply. Reports are kept until resolved and then deleted; a description of the problem and the fix, without any personal detail, may appear on the changelog.

Children and caregivers

The site is for adults and for caregivers preparing medication for someone else, including children. It does not ask for age and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Caregivers should follow the instructions that came with the medication and their pharmacist's guidance; this calculator is an arithmetic aid, not a substitute for either.

Terms of use

By using this site you accept these terms. The calculator does arithmetic on the numbers you enter, and nothing more. It is not medical advice. It does not check whether what you enter is correct, and it does not replace the instructions that came with your medication or the advice of a pharmacist or prescriber.

You are responsible for checking every number against your prescription and your label, and for stopping to ask a professional when something does not match.

The site is provided as is, without any warranty. To the fullest extent the law allows, its operators accept no liability for loss or harm arising from its use.

The site names medications approved by the US FDA and does not support unapproved or research-use products.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, except where the law of the place you live gives you rights that cannot be taken away by these terms.
